Over my 5 years of fighting with acne, I have listened to commercials that tell me they have the solution. I have been through options such as Cetaphil, Neutrogena, Clean&Clear, ProActive, SkinID, Dermalogica, and even tried many birth controls and antibiotics from dermatologists; spending more money on trying to correct my skin than I wish to admit.

As it turns out, I was fighting fire with fire, I had no clue what I was up against, all I knew was that my face hurt and was gross, constantly picking and trying new paths.  Brenda Griffin was my last resort, which I later found out, she should have been my first.

No skin care professional has ever listened to me before and Brenda changed the way I viewed my skin.  She thoroughly listened to what I had been through, both product and frustrations, then she explained the mechanisms for why everything I had tried failed.

The key to her success with my face was her compassion and care for me.  What I mean by this is that anyone can take your money in trade for a treatment.  Brenda’s conditions were to follow the treatment regimen she advised so that I would be successful.  You wouldn’t go to a class and tell the teacher you are running the course for the day would you?

With every appointment she would look at my skin, give me her analysis and explain to me what she wanted to do and how that would affect my face.

After about 2-3 months, my cystic acne, discoloration (redness), and the majority of my scars had cleared.  And beyond that, the usual causes of my acne like menstrual cycles, working out and stress had less of an effect on my face.

My point: Acne is controllable, but not on your own.  Brenda has been amazing!  My success has allowed me to go from wearing 7 layers of cover-up to wearing one layer of tinted sunscreen and that is a remarkable feeling.

Brenda’s service from start to finish has been exemplary and on a professional, knowledgeable, yet friendly level that far exceeds all other dermatologists, Aestheticians or product lines I have dealt with. Nothing ever seems to be too much trouble to her and I am made to feel unique, never feeling that I am just one of many clients.

I came to Faces Plus after trying everything else. The dermatologist had me on topical and oral prescriptions and still my skin was not clear. After being educated about my condition, receiving topical products, an at-home regimen and receiving regular treatments I was determined to do what was necessary to have clear skin. I've been using some of Brenda's products for a couple of years but when she explained the whole skin care management system to me, I was "sold" and had to try it. Since starting to use it a few weeks ago I can see a noticeable difference in my skin.  It's softer, some of the fine lines are gone and my pores are cleaner.  I originally thought it was a lot of money to pay but I now see that it's worth it AND it's been effortless.  Wish I'd started using the whole system long ago!
