Acne and Iodides

Iodides are in many of the foods we consume and iodides aggravate acne.  An iodide rich food on it’s own may not be too much of a problem but when combined with other iodide rich foods it can be too much.  Some vegetables naturally have iodides.  You also need to take into consideration the soil they were grown in.  Foods grown in California and Florida soils will have higher levels of iodide than those grown in Midwestern soils.
